Troubleshooting

If you encounter a problem while working with our products or technologies, this section provides practical troubleshooting procedures, possible causes and recommended solutions.

The goal of this section is to help you determine why a problem occurs, which part of the workflow should be checked and how to resolve the issue systematically. Individual topics are gradually connected to detailed expert guides within our Support Center.

DTF Printing Troubleshooting

DTF printing is a complex process in which all components must work together correctly:

DTF PRINTER + PRINTHEAD + INK + DTF FILM + DTF POWDER + CURING + HEAT PRESS + FABRIC

A problem in one part of the process may therefore become visible only at a later stage of production.

Here you will find solutions for issues such as:

  • banding or inconsistent DTF printing,
  • printhead nozzle dropouts,
  • problems with white DTF ink,
  • insufficient white ink opacity,
  • white ink sedimentation,
  • problems with DTF powder application,
  • incorrect or insufficient adhesive curing,
  • DTF transfers not sticking to fabric,
  • transfers peeling after application or washing,
  • DTF prints cracking or losing flexibility,
  • problems when peeling Hot Peel or Cold Peel films,
  • incorrect heat press temperature, time or pressure,
  • problems caused by specific types of fabrics.

When troubleshooting, we recommend changing only one parameter at a time. This makes it easier to identify the actual cause of the problem and prevents additional changes from introducing new variables or issues.

If you need to solve a specific problem, select the relevant topic. Individual issues will gradually direct you to a detailed guide, troubleshooting procedure or related expert article.

The Support Center will be continuously expanded with additional troubleshooting resources covering DTF technology as well as other products and technologies in our range.
